Welcome to Madammy

I recently became a Proud Grandmother, but that name didn't suit me. I'm a woman of a certain age, but I look much younger than most women my age. I wanted a name to represent the new age Grandmother, young spirited, healthy, fit, fabulous, and Grand. I took the word Grand, which translated to Madam, meaning a Woman of a certain age. My daughter always has referred to me as Mommy. Put those two together, and you have a new updated version of Grandmother; you now have Madammy. I love the name, and I hope in the years to come, Madammy will be familiar with no explanation necessary.
